Show For Show Ranch Empty Show For Show Ranch

Post  Admin Sun Dec 07, 2008 1:22 am

Friesian horses and Friesian Sport Horses are probably the most desirable horse breeds on Earth, an all-rounder in the events and amazing at halter shows aswell.

The possibities on these breeds are almost endless, it is the riders will to chose what these horses do and how well they do it. The rider, the horses companian rather than higher ranking, is what could make or break a horse's career.

In America there is a ranch called Show for Show or SFS, its sole perpose is to breed and train the finest Friesians and Friesian Sport Horses the Americas have seen. They also hold shows where outsiders, horses and riders/trainers from other countries and ranches, come to show off how wellbred their horses are.

SFS does have a few horses for sale, usually this is rare because of their bloodlines, but it does happen when twins occur and one is not needed or a breeding horse has lost its purpose. A breeding horse here cannot be retrained to do something else, it will be sold or released into one of the herds that ranch owns, the ranch has a few herds that live nearby in paddocks, usually these are mares and foals that are too wild to be trainer here or they have become too old to be used for a certain task anymore.

RULES
You may have up to 5 horses and 3 human characters
No details about birthing or mating, ect.
All horses that qualify for SFS must be atleast 1/4 Friesian
You Must Be 17

MINE

Name: Zac Efron
Age: 17
Gender: MAle

Horse:
Show name: Burn it to the ground
Stable name: Burny
Gender: Stallion
Age: 10 years old
Breed *e.g. Friesian x Arab*: 1/2 Friesian 1/4 Thoroughbred 1/8 Shire 1/8 Unknown
Colour: Light bay
Physical characteristics *what you can see*: Burny has a very Friesian frame, stocky, large and strong, he has no classic Friesian feathers but he has the famous Friesian ram's head along with the Thoroughbred legs and eyes, he also has a Shire's height, him being 17hh
Producer characteristics *what the breed/halfbred characteristics are:e.g. good mother, strong, well balanced, ect.*: He is extremely well balanced, good hoof and mass ratio, he has the strength of his Friesian and Shire roots but with the speed, endurance and agility of a Thoroughbred, but he has a characteristic that is not found in these breeds, a light bay, also dun appearence...Maybe the missing piece to his genepool is a Przewalski's horse or another primitive breed. He is also fancy, meaning that he is a "pretty" stallion, i.e. most of his foals that he sires, around 60 per cent, end up as show horses, he is tall, usually meaning most of his foals end up 15hh and above. Also if he is bred with a Friesian the offspring is usually a stunning chestnut colour.
Height: 17hh
What is its gait like: Steady, also seems to be extended, fabulosly gaited, high stepping action and somewhat speedy
For sale or not: For stud
